The Gogebic County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 11 approved two project-related actions: a contractor proposal to replace windows at the main entrance of the county cattle barn, and the provision of project assistance from Keith Johnson for work across the current fiscal year.
Commissioner Lorenson moved and Commissioner Cayer supported approval of Angelo Luppino’s proposal for removal and replacement of the windows on the cattle barn’s main entrance; the board recorded a 6–0 roll call vote in favor with Commissioner Wood absent. Later, Commissioner Yon moved and Commissioner Matonich supported authorizing Keith Johnson to assist on various county projects; that motion likewise passed on a 6–0 roll call.
The minutes record the approvals and roll-call tallies but do not list contract values or specific task lists for Johnson’s assistance. The board placed committee reports on file and recorded both motions as carried.
