The Chippewa County MDHHS board on Feb. 6 approved two January budget requests to provide immediate client assistance.
Terri Bush moved to approve the purchase of 25 food-only Walmart gift cards at $50 each, for a total of $1,250; Tom Boger supported the motion and it carried. The board later approved payment of $60 for 10 EUPTA tickets at $6 each to be used by clients; that motion was moved by Tom Boger and supported by Terri Bush and carried. Invoices associated with the ticket payment were listed as #26113, #26213 and #26322.
The approvals were recorded during the board’s routine budget review for January 2025. No additional discussion or objections were recorded. The meeting adjourned at 10:33 a.m.
