Ontonagon County approves payments, prepaids and payroll in routine consent actions

The Ontonagon County Board of Commissioners approved multiple routine consent items in motions recorded at its June 17 and Aug. 19, 2025 meetings, including payment of current bills, prepaid bills and payroll.
At the June 17 meeting the board approved current bills totaling $348,947.24, prepaid bills of $104,633.44 covering the period May 15 nd June 11, 2025, and payroll totaling $262,556.11 (payroll periods ending May 23 and June 12, 2025). The motion was offered by Commissioner Nousiainen and supported by Commissioner Bourdeau, and Chair Carl R. Nykanen declared the resolution adopted.
At the Aug. 19 meeting the board approved payment of bills totaling $103,411.75 for that cycle, reported prepaid bills of $285,249.49 covering July 10 to Aug. 13, 2025, and payroll totaling $198,644.05 for the listed payroll periods. The motion was made by Commissioner Bourdeau and supported by Commissioner Cane and carried on a 5-0 roll call vote.
The motions were recorded in the minutes with fund-by-fund line items for general fund, 911 service fund, transit fund and other named funds. No member recorded dissent on these consent actions.
