Oceana County board corrects L-4029 and extends District #10 Health Department lease through 2029

Oceana County commissioners on Oct. 9 unanimously approved two administrative actions: an amendment to the L-4029 tax form and a five-year extension of the District #10 Health Department lease.
Commissioner Craig Hardy moved (supported by Commissioner Tim Beggs) to amend Motion #2025-113 and approve a revision to the L-4029, the county form listing millage rates, after the Equalization Director identified an error in the Veterans’ Affairs operating millage. The amendment carried on a unanimous roll-call vote.
Separately, the Board adopted Motion #2025-120 to extend the lease agreement with District #10 Health Department for five years, to expire Dec. 31, 2029. The extension was moved by Commissioner Paul Erickson, supported by Commissioner Tim Beggs, and approved by unanimous roll call.
Minutes show both items were treated as routine, recorded with roll-call votes, and no public opposition was noted at the meeting.
