The Dubois County Solid Waste Management District Board of Directors approved its September and October claims and accepted minutes from the Aug. 18, 2025 meeting during a regular session on Oct. 20.
Controller Martha A. Wehr reported the district’s checking account balance was $265,916.92. A motion by board member Chad A. Blessinger to accept the claims, seconded by Serice Stenftenagel, was unanimously approved. Later, Dean M. Vonderheide moved to accept the Aug. 18 minutes; Vince Helming seconded and the minutes were approved without dissent.
No contested votes were recorded in the meeting minutes; the record lists the claim line items and vendors for September and October 2025. The minutes show standard operating expenses to vendors including WM Corporate Services, Invironmental Technologies, Dubois County Health Department and others with the combined line-item totals recorded in the meeting packet.
The board adjourned at 8:20 a.m. after routine business. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Dec. 15, 2025, at 7:30 a.m. in the Annex Conference Room.
