FLRSB elects officers, designates bank signatories and approves auditor engagement

Member Derek King moved, and Member Scott Wolfersberger seconded, to elect Greg Moore as Chair, Derek King as Vice Chair, Scott Wolfersberger as Secretary and Ariel Boonstra as Treasurer for 2025; the Board approved the slate by voice vote. After the election, Greg Moore chaired the remainder of the meeting.
Kelli Scott, Calhoun County Administrator/Controller, recommended the annual formal designation of check signers required by the bank; the Board appointed all officers (Moore, King, Boonstra, Wolfersberger) as 2025 bank signatories by voice vote. The Board also approved a 2025 meeting schedule (March 6, May 8 and June 17 at 9:00 a.m.) and a 2025 Administrative Services Agreement that County Administration said mirrors the prior year with no change in fee.
On audit services, Scott said the proposed cost to engage the 2024 auditor would increase to $5,200. The Board approved the audit engagement by motion (moved by Member King, seconded by Member Boonstra) with a voice vote recorded as carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:25 a.m.; the next meeting is scheduled for May 8, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in Administrative Conference Room 3-700 of the Calhoun County Building, Marshall.
