Emergency Manager and E-911 Coordinator Karen Kempert reviewed the monthly Emergency Fire Danger Proclamation on May 21 and recommended leaving the proclamation in place; commissioners agreed to continue monthly reviews in case it is needed this fall.
Kempert also reviewed an amended E-911 contract with Towner County and clarified that the contract’s percentage is based on the 'current year' dispatch budget; the commissioners agreed with the committee’s approval of that change. The minutes do not include the full text of the contract amendment.
The board reviewed and approved the audit of claims (motion by Nick Moser, seconded by Stanley Dick). The minutes list vendor payments and amounts, including routine utility and vendor payments; one large listed disbursement was $89,600 to Douglas Mazuru Chimanga.
