Planning and Zoning recommended approval. Commissioner Michael Gravett moved to approve; Commissioner Chuck Thaxton seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
TA25-01: Commissioners adopted a text amendment to Subpart B, Appendix A — Zoning and Subdivisions, Sec. 700.08 (Interpretation of Words). The amendment, requested by county staff and recommended by the county attorney, revises the code to state that if a use is not included as a permitted use in a zoning district, that use is specifically excluded. Commissioner Linda Liles moved to approve the text amendment; Commissioner John Paschal seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
