Polk County adopted a resolution to amend the ACCG 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan for county employees to add a Roth option.
Commissioner Linda Liles moved to approve the amendment; Commissioner Hal Floyd seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The change adds an after-tax Roth contribution option to the county’s existing deferred-compensation plan offered through ACCG (Association County Commissioners of Georgia).
County staff will update plan materials and employee communications to reflect the new choice for 457(b) participants.
