The Irwin County Board of Elections & Registrations reconvened at 5:00 p.m. on July 18 and certified the results of the July 15 Special Primary Runoff by a 3-0 vote.
Vice-Chair Patricia Thurman moved to certify the results "as presented," and Rep. Wyatt Thompson seconded the motion. The board voted 3-0 to certify; all board members then signed the certifying documents. The certification followed the board’s earlier inspection of election documentation to compare the voter credit list, poll pad check-ins and the list of eligible voters as required by SEB Rules.
There was no public comment. The board adjourned at approximately 5:07 p.m. The next board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
