Dooly County commissioners adopt FY2003‑04 budget and set 2003 millage

At the same special meeting the Board adopted the FY2003‑04 county budget, which lists total budgeted revenues and expenditures of $9,803,864 for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2003 and ending Sept. 30, 2004. The minutes record that required legal advertisements were published in the county legal organ prior to the hearing and that votes on the millage and budget were unanimous.
The adoption completed the county’s principal annual fiscal actions for the year and authorized staff to implement the approved spending and revenue plan.
