Chairman Jay Thompson opened the meeting at 5:00 p.m. and said the body approved minutes from its March 5 regular meeting after a motion by Commissioner Larry Stoudemire and a second from Commissioner John L. Thrailkill. Commissioners then voted unanimously to approve invoices received through March 19 and authorized the chairman and the treasurer/administrator to issue warrants for payment.
On the consent docket the commission approved travel for designated personnel to the Rural Transportation ALTRANS conference (April 30–May 2, Gulf Shores) and the NACo conference (July 12–15, Tampa).
