Interim City Manager Kimberly Hines told the Committee of the Whole on July 17 that council packets have not been reliably delivered and — because of extended business hours — must be ready by noon on Friday; she said council members need to pick up packets that are not delivered.
Hines also provided a technology update, saying technicians are working diligently and that new tablets will be ready Monday. She said more information would be provided to council members when available.
On facilities, Hines said she authorized a deep cleaning service for the Department of Public Works garage and that work on windows has begun as part of the capital improvement plan.
Hines discussed a handout about the Success Studio and training dates. Council member Jaime Esiline noted the last login was Feb. 19 and that a judge's signature was missing; council members were asked to tell Interim City Manager Hines by Monday whether they can attend a training set for Aug. 23.
At the end of the agenda items, Council member Jamie Sischo announced that Narcan kits are available at the Health Department. Council member Cristy Guiterrez asked to step down from the Gladwin County Fair Board. Mayor Sarah Kile reminded members about the Adams family play this weekend.
The meeting record lists attendees and staff, including Deputy Clerk Carrie Will. The transcript does not record a formal vote on the operational items summarized above.
