The Kelloggsville Board of Education voted unanimously to approve its consent agenda at the regular meeting on Feb. 10, 2025. The motion to approve Consent Agenda items 24‑92 through 24‑95 was moved by Ms. Townsend and seconded by Mrs. Tanis; the vote was recorded as Yeas: 6, Nays: 0.
The approved items included: 24‑92 — approval of Regular Meeting minutes from Jan. 27, 2025; 24‑93 — approval of the personnel report; 24‑94 — approval of the Sex Education Advisory Board (SEAB); and 24‑95 — approval of the Schools of Choice resolution. Board staff listed those items on the consent agenda as routine approvals required for district operations.
The vote was taken during the meeting opening and business portion; President Ward called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the motion carried without opposition. There were no amendments or recorded individual roll‑call objections to these items.
Agenda materials also noted that several proposals (including 6th‑grade camp dates and future graduation dates) would be placed on the board’s Feb. 24, 2025 consent agenda for formal approval. These proposals were presented for discussion and scheduling but were not decided at the Feb. 10 meeting.
The board will reconvene at its next scheduled meeting; items placed on the Feb. 24 consent agenda will appear for routine approval at that time.
