The Kelloggsville Board of Education unanimously approved its consent agenda at the May 5 regular meeting, adopting March minutes, a personnel report and an expenditure report that listed General Fund spending of $598,278.91, Food Service $11,837.06 and Capital Projects $14,861.00. The consent agenda motion (items 24‑132 through 24‑136) was moved by Mrs. Reidzans and seconded by Ms. Townsend and passed with six yeas and no nays.
The consent items included setting the budget hearing for June 9, 2025, and approval of Staff Appreciation Day for May 6, 2025. Mrs. Scott reviewed the expenditure report for the General Fund during the consent discussion.
Separately, the board approved the KIASB election as presented after a motion by Mr. Flores‑Garcia, seconded by Mrs. Tanis; that motion also passed unanimously. All formal votes recorded a 6‑0 tally in favor with Ms. Rocha listed as absent on the roll call.
No additional formal actions or amendments were recorded for these motions. President Ward called the meeting to order at 5:58 p.m. and adjourned it at 6:34 p.m.
