Kelloggsville Board approves consent agenda; schedules teacher-tenure list for Nov. 24

The Kelloggsville Board of Education approved its consent agenda without opposition at its Nov. 10 meeting, adopting minutes and a personnel report by a 6-0 vote. Mr. Flores-Garcia moved the motion and Mrs. Tanis seconded; trustees recorded six yeas and no nays.
The board was presented with a proposed list of teachers eligible for tenure at the conclusion of the 2025–26 school year. The district said the list — which includes Austin Jackson, Emily Ogg, Kristi VanderWoude, Kenneth Pinch, Lauren Fischer, Jodi Wolters and Maximilian Young — will be placed on the Nov. 24, 2025 agenda as a consent item for final consideration.
Superintendent James Alston and district staff were present for the meeting; the board took no additional action on tenure at the Nov. 10 session.
President Ward called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.; the board adjourned at 6:48 p.m.
