County staff present grant and agreement amendments, transit funds and a liquor-license request for Regular Session action

At the July 15 work session, Commissioners Assistant Tina Burneikis presented multiple administrative agenda items that were slated for action in the Regular Session.
Key items presented:
• Amendment No. 001 to Agreement #25-018 (Oregon Department of Energy County Energy Resilience Program Grant): staff said Lake County Resources Initiative (LCRI) is carrying out the grant work and requested an extension of the completion deadline from August 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.
• Oregon Department of Transportation Agreement No. 35759 (Section 5310 funds): the previously approved application for $121,536.00 in ODOT Public Transportation Division funds for Lake County Public Transit was presented for formal action.
• OLCC license request for The Company Store: because the owners completed a remodel in 2025, OLCC required a new license request; staff presented the item for Regular Session consideration.
• Lake County Chamber of Commerce dues: a request to pay $300 for 2025–2026 membership dues was presented; the board was told the dues had not increased from the prior year.
• Oregon Health Authority intergovernmental agreements: staff presented a Second Amendment to broaden remittance language for environmental health services and a Sixth Amendment to extend the 2024–2025 mental-health and addiction-services IGA end date to December 31, 2025; Commissioner James Williams said the mental-health extension related to ongoing county–OHA discussions about language in a new agreement.
All items were presented during the work session and scheduled for action or consideration in the Regular Session; no formal votes occurred in the work session itself.
