Sheriff warns of possible layoffs if Town of Lakeview payments aren’t resolved

Treasurer Melanie Lasley told commissioners it was important to be transparent with the public about the potential shortfall. The board did not take formal action at the work session; any formal action or contract remedies were deferred to regular session.
