Rawlins County awards $3,500 bonuses to two public-health staff after executive session

Solko seconded the motion. Commissioner Mark Mosley abstained; the motion carried.
Before the session, Hurst and Clark had provided operational updates to the board on school health screenings, QuickBooks access, billing and vaccine availability, and noted upcoming closures while staff attend a Health Care Summit and the Kansas Association of Counties meeting.
The board did not provide additional public detail in the meeting record about the personnel deliberations that occurred during the executive session. The bonuses were approved by formal motion and recorded in the minutes.
