Rawlins County Clerk sets advanced voting schedule, Election Day hours; canvass date set

Rawlins County Clerk Rachel Finley told the Board of Commissioners that advanced voting for the 2024 Primary Election is open in the Clerk's office 9 a.m.–5 p.m. on regular business days and will end at noon on Monday, Aug. 5, to allow staff to prepare for Election Day. She said Election Day voting will start at 7 a.m. and continue until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6.
The board set the county’s 2024 Primary Election Canvass for Thursday, Aug. 15, at 10:00 a.m. in the Rawlins County Courtroom. The board also scheduled its next regular commissioners meeting for Thursday, Aug. 15, at 9:00 a.m. in the courtroom.
Clerk Finley indicated the office will close at noon Aug. 5 to prepare ballots and materials for Election Day; no changes to polling locations or procedures were announced in the meeting record.
The board adjourned at 10:58 a.m.
