Rawlins County commissioners approve vouchers, sign budget engagement letter and transfer $36,000 in public health funds

At its June 28 meeting the Rawlins County Board of Commissioners voted to approve the county’s June 2024 vouchers and to sign an engagement letter with Lindburg Vogel Pierce Faris Chartered for assistance preparing the 2025 county budget. Commissioner Pochop moved to approve the vouchers and the engagement letter; Commissioner Solko seconded and the motions carried.
The board also approved a 2023 year-end transfer of $36,000 from the Public Health Fund to the Public Health Capital Outlay Fund; Commissioner Pochop moved the transfer and Commissioner Solko seconded. The transcript records that the motion to transfer carried.
Other administrative items recorded in the minutes include scheduling interviews for the Maintenance Director position (special meeting after harvest), noting county offices will be closed July 4, 2024, and setting the next regular meeting for July 15, 2024, at 9:00 a.m.
