PLYMOUTH, N.C. — During its May 15 recessed session, the Washington County Board of Commissioners reconvened as the Board of Equalization and Review and heard from Tax Administrator Sherri Wilkins that there were no tax appeals as of that date.
Commissioner Tracey A. Johnson moved to reconvene as the Board of Equalization and Review; Commissioner Carol V. Phelps seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Wilkins told the board, “there were no appeals as of today.”
The board recessed the Board of Equalization and Review until June 5, 2023 at 6:00 PM in the Commissioners’ Room, 116 Adams Street, Plymouth; the session will be livestreamed on the county’s Facebook page, according to the motion and agenda note. The motion to recess carried unanimously.
