The county's engineer estimate for the work was listed as $1,080,000.00.
On a motion by Commissioner Old, seconded by Commissioner Shoffner, the Board voted to accept the bids for consideration and to refer them to the Utilities Director and the Purchasing Coordinator for review and recommendation back to the Board. The roll call was recorded as unanimous (Old: Aye; Shoffner: Aye; Shenigo: Aye).
The Board took no further action on the bids at the meeting; staff review was requested to evaluate responsiveness, scope, and whether revisions to the project or scope are needed before any award or contract is recommended.
