Erie County Commissioners approve appointments, routine resolutions and personnel actions

By unanimous vote the Board appointed Lisa Crescimano to the unexpired term of Timothy Mayles on the Erie County Port Authority through Aug. 31, 2027. The Board also adopted resolutions to authorize payment for services to Kroger; enter an agreement with Ninke Lawn Services, Inc. for landscape maintenance at The Meadows at Osborn Park; authorize the County Engineer to proceed by force account for maintenance and repair of county roads, bridges and drainage; declare certain items surplus; and authorize supplemental appropriations for judge-related funds. The Board adopted a resolution executing payment under Then‑and‑Now Certification per O.R.C. 5705.41(d)(1).
The Board approved revised Auditor’s Certificates adding $51,000 for Morton Salt, Inc. for road salt and $20,000 for Corso’s Flower & Garden Center for snow removal. It also approved assigning two sheriff’s deputies to provide Title IV‑D security at the Department of Job and Family Services and approved staff travel and personnel changes for county facilities, including The Meadows at Osborn Park.
Other actions recorded included a proclamation declaring Transit Week in Erie County and approval of travel requests for two Family and Children First Council representatives to Camp Nuhop. The Board adjourned at 10:18 a.m.
