Commissioners approve surplus declarations, personnel actions and routine travel expenses

During its March 10 regular session, the Erie County Commissioners approved several administrative actions including resolutions declaring certain county items surplus, personnel action forms for multiple departments, and modest travel expense reimbursements.
The board adopted a resolution declaring certain items surplus for discard or salvage and a second resolution declaring equipment surplus and authorizing sale via internet auction (Res. #25-66 and Res. #25-67). Both resolutions passed on motions by Mr. Shoffner with a second from Mr. Old; roll calls were recorded as all aye.
The commission authorized travel expenses of $143.25 for Clerk of Courts Craig Hecht to attend an Ohio Clerk of Courts meeting (Feb. 18–19, 2025) and $40.00 for Melissa Pelletier to attend a district title meeting on Feb. 5, 2025. The board also approved requested personnel actions for ECDJFS staff (Kim Faggionato) and several staffing changes at The Meadows at Osborn Park (including resignations and rate increases for STNA staff), and approved a separation-pay request for Lori Foxworth from the Clerk of Courts’ Compensated Reserve Fund.
