The Erie County Commissioners approved several routine fiscal and personnel items during the May 12 meeting. The Board approved a revised Auditor’s Certificate adding $590.50 for a 63-month lease of a Postbase Vision A-7 postage machine for the Commissioners’ Office. It also approved a revised Auditor’s Certificate adding $11,529.50 for the Erie County Board of Developmental Disabilities to implement Help Me Grow: Ohio’s Birth to Three System (Part C).
The Board approved an additional $40,000 for Corso’s Flower & Garden Center for snow and ice removal services at seven county sites. Personnel action forms approved included a longevity increase for Kim Johnson, EMA Assistant Planner/Administrative Assistant, effective April 27, 2025; staffing updates for The Meadows at Osborn Park including a part-time LPN rate increase for Ashlynn Ayers effective May 4, 2025, the resignation of Veshea Lee effective May 3, 2025, and the employment of Angel Pennix effective May 8, 2025.
The Board also noted receipt of a letter from Dickinson Wright PLLC regarding the Emerson Creek Wind Farm third amendment application and the monthly financial report from the Erie County Auditor for the month ending April 30, 2025. On a motion by Matt Old and second by Mr. Shoffner, the Board adjourned at 9:50 a.m.; roll call was recorded as all aye.
