Commissioners approve revised subdivision rules, AI policy, jail laundry donation and plat for 'Lakeshore Estates on LBJ'

The Llano County Commissioners Court on May 12 approved several administrative and planning items, voting unanimously on each.
The court gave final approval (second reading) to revised Llano County Subdivision Regulations, including appendixes. Commissioner Linda Raschke moved to approve the regulations after their second reading; Commissioner Brent Richards seconded the motion.
The court also approved an Artificial Intelligence Policy developed by University of Texas cybersecurity students. The policy was presented by Robert Ruiz of the Texas Association of Counties and a University of Texas professor identified in the minutes as Professor Lockhart. Commissioner Raschke moved to adopt the policy; Commissioner Richards seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Under Local Government Code 263.152, the court approved donating the jail’s replaced commercial washer and dryer to the Hill Country Humane Society; the minutes note the equipment has already been replaced. Commissioner Raschke moved and Commissioner Moss seconded the donation; the motion passed unanimously.
On land‑use matters, the court approved the plat of a 0.980‑acre tract out of the J.G. Pfeuffer Survey No. 1 to be known as 'Lakeshore Estates on LBJ.' The minutes reference the tract as the same property described in a General Warranty Deed to WDHDRH Holdings, LLC recorded in Document No. 21‑09591 of the Official Public Records of Llano County. Commissioner Raschke moved to approve the plat and Commissioner Moss seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The court approved the consent agenda at the start of the meeting, which included the April 28 minutes, accounts payable and budget transfers, contracts/agreements, HR and treasury reports and several departmental monthly reports. The consent agenda was approved on a motion by Commissioner Raschke and second by Commissioner Moss.
The court listed multiple executive/closed session items related to litigation, property, contracts and other matters but did not enter executive session. The meeting was adjourned at 10:53 a.m.
