The court certified three FY2025 Rural Law Enforcement Salary Assistance grants from the Texas Comptroller totaling $516,282.57: $352,262.79 to the sheriff’s office, $145,155.20 to the prosecutor’s office and $18,864.58 for constables. The court also accepted two donations: $1,000 from BCFA for Constable Precinct 2 and $480 for BHRC, and approved a budget amendment for Fund 17-State Supplement.
