Motions passed unanimously to approve reserve deputy constables for Precinct 4; accept racial‑profiling reports from Constables Precinct 2 and Precinct 3; certify continuing credentials for a deputy constable and an assistant elections administrator; and authorize dispatcher overtime for March 2025.
The court approved a Feb. 14, 2024 proposal from the Elections Group to provide Written Information Security Program (WISP) manuals for the Elections Department at a cost of $25,000, funded by a grant intended for security cameras on the first, second and fourth floors. Commissioners also authorized applying for the Texas Office of the Attorney General’s Victim Coordinator and Liaison Grants (VCLG), which are open only to local governments.
