The court also approved the Health Employees Benefits Pool (HEBP) FY25 renewal rates, which Mindy Seahorn reported were down 2% from the prior year. Commissioner Colando moved to accept the renewal rates; Commissioner Westermann seconded and the motion passed 4-0. The transcript states the deadline to accept the rates is June 28, 2024.
On county property and equipment, the court declared radio equipment from the Alpine Emergency Operations Center as salvage and approved its donation to the Big Bend Amateur Radio Club, Inc.; the court similarly declared electronic equipment in the tax assessor's basement as salvage and approved disposal via third-party vendor or auction.
