The Board also appropriated $500,000 from the Motor Fuel Tax Fund to cover Fosterburg Water District utility relocations required for Seiler Road Phase 2.
Bids for Seiler Road Phase 2 construction were opened and the committee recommended award to Kamadulski Excavating and Grading Company (low bid $3,442,122.15). The committee also reported bid awards for the Lambert Bridge on McCoy Road (low bidder: Stutz Excavating, $335,732.85) and the Vieth culvert on Jerusalem Road (low bidder: Gelly Excavating, $202,855.00), to be funded from the County Bridge Fund.
The Transportation Committee recommended awarding countywide sodium‑chloride (de‑icing salt) supply for multiple township and municipal groups to Compass Minerals America, Inc. at $60.55 per ton for Groups #1–#38.
