The Reeves County Groundwater Conservation District on Dec. 19 accepted an engagement letter with law firm Bickerstaff Heath Delgado Acosta LLP and recognized Emily Rogers as the lead attorney for the district.
Vice President David Dominguez asked whether there were major changes from the prior engagement. Attorney Bill Dugat said his reduced availability and rate and availability were the primary changes. Director Greg Perrin (staff member) noted the firm's in-person meeting rate has increased since the district first retained them, but otherwise the letter mirrors the prior agreement. The board voted 5–0 to accept the engagement letter and to recognize Emily Rogers as lead counsel.
The approval was procedural and carried with no further discussion recorded.
