Parmer County commissioners approve payroll, accounts payable and a subdivision plat

Parmer County Commissioners on April 22 approved routine financial items and a subdivision plat during their regular session in Farwell.
County Treasurer Sharon May presented the accounts payable lists for April 8, April 12 and April 22, 2024; Commissioner Kirk Frye moved to approve payment and Commissioner Kenny White seconded. The court approved payment of the accounts payable lists by majority vote.
Commissioner Casey Russell moved to approve the Treasurer's payroll report dated April 15, 2024; Commissioner Kenny White seconded and the motion carried by majority vote. Treasurer Sharon May also presented the county's receipts and expenditures for the first quarter (Jan. 1–Mar. 31, 2024); Commissioner Kirk Frye moved to approve the quarterly report and Commissioner Charles Wilkins seconded; the motion passed by majority vote.
On land-use business, Judge Isabel "Izzy" Carrasco moved to approve the plat for the Flores Subdivision for filing; Commissioner Kenny White seconded and the motion passed by majority vote. The plat was filed in the County Clerk's office.
The court adjourned at 11:35 a.m.
