One person was living in a vehicle and one was found behind a business; both declined offers of assistance including food, gloves and sleeping bags.
Wilson told the board the canvass was countywide and staffed by volunteers working to determine immediate needs and connect people to services where possible. By comparison, Wilson said the county's 2025 Point‑in‑Time count located 14 individuals.
