Venango County approves vendor contracts, park timbering and event updates

Venango County commissioners on Feb. 10 approved multiple vendor and maintenance contracts and heard an update on activities at Two Mile Run County Park.
The board ratified or approved several vendor agreements: a contract with SAVIN for victim notifications; a three-year contract with Regroup Mass Notification for 911; a Mobilcom contract to install network cabling to support 911 infrastructure; a revised web-services contract; and ratification of Bruce Eicher as fiscal agent for the Northwest PA Emergency Response Group (NWPAERG). The minutes also record approval of a Contempo Tech Cleaning Services contract and a three-year Cummins Sales and Service contract to service county generators.
The board approved a hangar lease (Hangar 9-5) with Glenn Usechak and a first amendment to the airport restaurant lease. Commissioners also approved a timbering contract with Brush Run Lumber for Two Mile Run County Park. Park Director Kara Kauffman told commissioners the Game Commission will partner on Cabin Fever Days with free hands-on education workshops, a Jeep Ride was cancelled due to weather, and the Polar Plunge was moved to Feb. 14.
Commissioner Kenneth M.J. Bryan moved approval on the listed county contracts; Commissioner Samuel H. Breene seconded and the minutes record 'aye all.' The meeting record notes the addition and ratification of a UPMC agreement (agenda item 11.C) but provides no fiscal or contract text in the minutes.
The board adjourned at 5:02 p.m. and will reconvene March 10, 2026.
