The Juniata County Commissioners approved routine business during their Feb. 10 meeting, including the minutes from Feb. 3, departmental reports, a student volunteer request and a payments checklist totaling $233,976.73.
On a motion by Todd A. Graybill and a second by Mark R. Partner, the Feb. 3 minutes were unanimously approved. The board reviewed January departmental reports from the Sheriff’s Office, the Treasurer’s Office, the Tax Assessment Office and the Juniata County Children and Youth Office.
Ashley Baxter, Juniata Children and Youth director (joining via Google Meeting), presented a volunteer request from Ashleigh Funkhouser, a Shippensburg University social work student. The board unanimously approved Funkhouser’s requested volunteer hours for the week of March 16, 2026.
The commissioners also approved payment of checklist #77404–#77467 in the amount of $233,976.73; the motion was carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 10:07 a.m.
