The Greenville City Council unanimously approved a food vendor application from James Matthew of Fork in the Road to operate a food truck at 1320 W. Washington Street (American Legion Post 101).
Councilperson Moss moved to approve the application with conditions: the location and operation must not impede traffic or adversely impact neighboring properties; the operator must comply with all health department rules and regulations; the permit is authorized for dates May 2 to October 12, 2023; the permit is suspended for the Danish Festival (Aug. 17–20, 2023); the applicant must pay the City food vendor license fee and provide an updated copy of the food service license sticker. Councilperson Lehman seconded; the motion was adopted unanimously.
The permit establishes permit dates and operational conditions; enforcement and health compliance were left to city staff and relevant health authorities.
