Commissioner Shipley asked community members on Oct. 20 to submit letters or articles of support for the proposed Parkridge Emergency Center to the Chattanoogan by noon the following day, saying the city expects to learn by next Wednesday whether the Certificate of Need will be approved.
"Anyone that is interested in the proposed Parkridge Emergency Center write an article of support on the Chattanoogan by noon tomorrow," Commissioner Shipley said. He told the board the city should know the Certificate of Need outcome by next Wednesday.
The request came during general announcements; the transcript does not record a formal vote or other board action on the facility at the Oct. 20 meeting. No details about the project scope, funding or the content required for public support submissions were provided during the discussion.
