When the board reconvened at 7:45 p.m., Autumn Friday of Hamilton County Engineering requested approval of the mayor’s signature on the Hamilton County TDEC permit interlocal agreement. She said each municipality in the county must apply for the permit with each jurisdiction signing the request and that the new agreement mirrors the previous one and will expire in 2027. City Attorney Elliott confirmed he had reviewed the agreement.
Vice‑Mayor Cothran moved approval; Commissioner Everett seconded and the board voted unanimously to approve the interlocal agreement. The meeting adjourned at 7:48 p.m.
