The organizational meeting, called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Superintendent Steven McGhee, began with the election of Terry Hughes as temporary chair and the acceptance of the printed agenda. Two candidates were nominated for president; a roll-call vote to appoint Terry Hughes failed 4-3, and a second roll-call to appoint Stacey White passed 4-3. Stacey White accepted the position.
