County Manager Thomas Weaver told commissioners at the Nov. 24 work session that Friendship Road paving has been completed and the county is awaiting striping and sample results. Weaver said crews finished the paving in three days and that Two Rivers will perform striping on Liberty Hill and Riverbend roads.
Weaver also reported the Caselle payment portal will replace Xpressbill pay and is scheduled to go live Dec. 1; the change will allow credit‑card payments at the county recycle center and the county intends to advertise the new option.
Other items discussed for placement on the Dec. 2 regular meeting agenda included reappointing Thomas Weaver to Two Rivers, adopting the 2026 Board of Commissioners meeting calendar (work session time options were presented at 9 a.m., 4 p.m. or 6 p.m.) and approving the 2026 employee holiday calendar. The work session entered executive session at 9:16 a.m. to discuss land issues and reconvened at 9:41 a.m.
