Commission approves Board of Health appointment, extension financial agreement, 4-H renewal and New Horizons reappointment

The Commission unanimously appointed Alison Wigand to fill a vacancy on the Chattahoochee County Board of Health, with her term to run Aug. 5, 2025 through Dec. 31, 2027.
Commissioners also approved renewal of the countys annual 4-H agreement and reviewed correspondence and a proposed Annual Financial Agreement and budget with the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Service for the July 1, 2025June 30, 2026 period. The UGA documents sought county contributions for extension personnel compensation and mileage funding to support 4-H outreach.
New Horizons Behavioral Health requested that April Hughes be reappointed to represent Chattahoochee County on its Community Service Board for the term Dec. 1, 2025 to Nov. 30, 2028. The Commission approved Hughesreappointment by motion.
The meeting materials included the Extension budget worksheets and a Docusign transmittal; staff said billing from UGA Extension would be quarterly according to the governing memorandum of understanding and that the county requested the final invoice be sent no later than 60 days after the end of the billing period.
