At the June 3 worksession the Snowflake Town Council reviewed potential uses for a town-owned parcel located west of the fire station at the corner of 4th S and 4th W. Suggestions included using the site as a parks equipment yard, establishing a police substation there, or allowing the library to use the space for overflow parking.
Several council members expressed a preference to locate a parks equipment yard at the rear of the cemetery rather than on the parcel by the fire station, saying the cemetery site had space for equipment storage that the town currently lacks. No formal motion or land-use decision was recorded in the minutes.
The council did not take formal action at the worksession; staff were expected to follow up as needed.
