Bryant added the expansion would be a "boon" for the business by generating more customers but said year-round operation would likely be difficult because he does not own the entire lot.
Councilmember Sheen moved and Councilmember Kay seconded a motion recommending approval to the state; the motion passed unanimously with Councilmembers Johnson and Bjornn absent. The council’s action was a recommendation to the state licensing authority; final approval rests with the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control.
