County approves multiple service contracts, appoints special prosecutor and accepts building bid

During routine consent business on June 7, the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners approved several contracts and administrative items affecting county operations.
Among consent approvals, the board authorized the chairman to sign a service-provider contract with High Country Behavioral Health not to exceed $80,000. The board also approved a contract with the Wyoming Department of Health, Behavioral Health Division, for the Adult Probation Program for $86,747.49 with a term of July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023, and a contract for Public Health Preparedness and Response for the County Health Officer not to exceed $9,600.
The board adopted a resolution appointing Tammy Fields of Harris Law Office, PC, to serve as special prosecutor for juvenile cases and authorized the chairman’s signature. Commissioners also awarded the bid for a lean-to building at the county Road & Bridge Department to Shane White Enterprises for $192,700 and authorized related contract execution.
Treasurer Jerry Greenfield presented May financials and discussed mill-levy distribution, postage-budget considerations and Mineral Severance Tax handling; commissioners signaled a preference to return certain funds to the state in a lump sum.
