Lincoln County adopts FY2022-23 budget, appropriation resolution and related consent items
Summary

The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners voted July 19 to adopt the fiscal year 2022–23 budget and an Appropriation Resolution to provide income necessary to finance the budget.
Commissioner Hansen moved to approve the budget and the appropriation resolution; the motion was adopted. Commissioners also approved funding for Special District mill levies and special assessments for FY2022–23 and approved estimates and maintenance orders for Porto and Smiths Fork irrigation districts; approvals for East Side, Cottonwood, Dry Creek and Etna irrigation districts were made contingent on filing required documents with the county commissioners.
As part of the same consent agenda the board authorized the chairman to sign an agreement with the Wyoming Department of Health for the county WIC (Women, Infants and Children) program and approved preparing two Chapter 41 ARPA water applications to pursue federal recovery funds for local water projects.
The board approved the routine vouchers and claims submitted with the consent agenda. County financial materials attached to the agenda list large line items including $425,590.65 for chip-seal oil and $1,517,872.00 in county health insurance funding; those claims were included in the approved vouchers.
