The council also approved an amendment requested by Susan Banks, Economic Development Director, to the Eastern Shore Innovation Center Co‑Working Space Membership Agreement to require ACH authorization for monthly payments, a one‑time $25 set‑up fee, and a $30 ACH withdrawal rejection fee that the county may charge if a member's financial institution rejects a withdrawal.
Duc Trieu, Recreation and Parks Director, sought and received council approval to advertise a request for proposals to resurface the James G. Busick Tennis Courts. The council also approved an FY24 budget transfer request for the Department of Corrections.
Additionally, the council confirmed interim poll decisions taken between meetings: to provide a letter of support for a National Trust for Historic Preservation Providence Preservation Fund grant application submitted by the Applegarth Tubman Medicine Hill Preservation and Education Foundation (confirmed 4‑0), and to provide a letter of support for Cross Street Partner's application to host the SPARK!
