Commission approves routine consent items, extends benefits for deputy’s widow and schedules 2026 budget reviews

The board approved an additional 18 months of BCBS vision and dental coverage for Mindy Martin, widow of Deputy Paul Martin; the motion was moved by Jamee Folk and seconded by Casey Voigt and approved unanimously. The commission also approved the Beulah Little People Preschool raffle application.
Auditor Carmen Reed briefed the commission on the 2026 budget process and the board agreed to hold department budget reviews on Friday, July 25, 2025, starting at 8:00 a.m. The meeting adjourned at 10:42 a.m.; the next regular meeting is scheduled for July 2, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
