States Attorney Todd Schwarz presented the Coyote Creek Road Resolution to the Mercer County Commission at its July 2 meeting. Commissioner Casey Voigt recused himself from the discussion because of a personal/familial interest noted in the minutes; no formal vote on the resolution is recorded.
Schwarz advised Commissioner Voigt to obtain a dollar amount for the needed road easement from his family and affected neighbors and bring that figure back to the commission for consideration. Representatives of Coyote Creek Mining, Brad Erickson and Jeremy Eckroth, were present for the discussion.
The minutes record the recusal and the instruction to return with an easement amount; they do not record a vote or final action on the resolution at this meeting.
