The motion to release the opioid funds was made by Commissioner Jamee Folk and seconded by Commissioner Casey Voigt; all four commissioners present voted aye and the motion carried. The minutes record the payout amount as $15,520.23.
County officials did not adopt a final county budget for the public health department in this meeting; the presentation and the opioid-fund payment were recorded as separate actions. The commission’s vote approved the use of the specified opioid settlement funds for the initiatives Ourada had outlined.
The commission adjourned at 12:12 p.m.; the next regular meeting is scheduled for July 16, 2025, in the Mercer County Government Center boardroom in Stanton.
